Bill started playing guitar at the age 10, after getting kick started by learning the violin a few years earlier ready to break away from the limitations of the orchestral sounds there was nothing more inviting that the versatility of the electric guitar.

Inspired a lot by his dad, who by the way can play any instrument w/strings or keys on it, Bill just had to Rock-n-Roll!

Influenced all the way by Jimi Hendrix and his unique sound, Eric Clapton and his sweet style and Carlos Santana with that always-recognizable tone Bill now was on his way and there was no stopping him.

Not to be left behind from what his dad could do, Bill went on to learn some instruments that his father could play like the banjo, mandolin and bass. That was fulfilling to him a lot because it gave him a chance to perform several times with his father.

At the age of 16, Bill wanted to improve the quality of his guitar technique and found that classical guitar was the way. After finding a great instructor and several years of working hard that was it, this made it work!

Over the years Bill has performed with his own bands along with gracing the stage with some greats such as Elvin Bishop, Dickey Betts, Greg Allman, Average White Band, Dave Mason and Leon Russell just to name a few. All of these have good memories and great impact but are small to the times he played and recorded with his long time friend and Nashville songwriter Kim Tribble That was a great time for Bill and his career.

“But wait”, says Bill. “Until now, you’ve got to see this guy. Playing with Billy Rice is the best. It’s the most fun I’ve has with anybody in a long time. Singing his heart out, entertaining the crowd, going, going, going like the energizer bunny. You’ve go to see this guy! You’ll love him!”
